Dear President Trump,

Re: Status report

I did receive your text on Friday regarding Apple and the app. To say my week has been eventful would be an understatement. On Monday, I was frustrated with LegalZoom over an unauthorized $249 charge on my account. Following that, I launched a CEO webpage that garnered significant attention, particularly for my endorsement of Vivek for governor of Ohio and my comments to both GM and Ford. I also reached out to various CEOs and executive search firms, to express my interest in returning to work. Additionally, I shared excerpts of my emails on my main website.

During this time, I realized that Toyota was searching for new leadership. I would be the optimal candidate to lead Toyota, surpassing any other contender globally. Consequently, I mentally embraced the role of CEO of Toyota. Currently, my website is on hold as I await a call or email from Spencer Stuart in Chicago regarding Toyota's potential interest in considering me for the CEO position. I am confident that Toyota would likely have just one interview question for me: they would want to hear my perspective on tariffs and what insights I can share with you concerning them.

Mr. President, my passion for job creation in the USA is well known to you. You're aware of my vision for a 'green machine' powered by greenhouse gases, solar energy, and friction. I am fully committed to making this vision a reality within the next five years, though the investment will be significant. During my discussions with Apple, TRC, and GM regarding this concept, I had earmarked $33 billion for a new facility in Dayton, Ohio, primarily funded by Apple and leveraging a substantial amount of their technology. However, the situation has now shifted, and the $9.6 billion would greatly assist with the construction of this new plant. I've assured several local stakeholders that I would do everything possible to restore jobs to Ohio. While my AI research center can facilitate this, my focus has expanded. I still have great admiration for the Mag 7 and IBM, but I have refined my expertise in the tech industry to such a degree that it no longer poses a significant challenge. To me, the entire computer industry feels like child's play compared to the intricacies involved in managing Toyota. Outside of your role and that of other key political figures, overseeing Toyota is arguably the most complex job on the planet, and I thrive on that challenge. The Mag 7 may have overwhelming financial resources, but I seek greater challenges than AI technology and smartphones.

I invite everyone to check out my insights page dedicated to Toyota. Did you know that over 60% of Toyotas are manufactured right here in the USA? Although Toyota is originally a Japanese automaker, it actually has a stronger American presence than GM, at least based on a quick Google search. Additionally, the excitement surrounding the new Toyota Terrari is amazing. The Mister 2 models were among the most exhilarating vehicles ever made, and I would love to see them produced in the USA as well. Is there any possibility of receiving a refund for the $9.6 billion to spend on these two significant projects? There's no rush for an answer, but I’ll keep everyone informed about Toyota's interest in potentially appointing me as the next CEO. Wishing you all a wonderful week; mine is sure to be filled with something extraordinary.

Highest regards,

William T. Voris

CEO – Toyota Motor Corporation

Addendum: Hi Mary, I wanted to mention that I noticed the shorts,

I'm unsure how my role as CEO of Toyota could affect our friendship, but I believe it shouldn't change anything. This was also the case with my friendships with other Mag 7 CEOs at Apple during the time I was being considered to succeed Tim Cook.
